Summary

Chromesthesia is a synesthesia-training web app. We collect the minimum needed to run your account and training: your sign-in identity, your sound–color map, and your training history. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

What we collect

Account info. Email and authentication details, handled by our auth provider (Clerk). We never see or store your password.
Training data. Your 12-band color map, training sessions, streaks, and consistency score.
Billing info. Subscription status and customer IDs. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe — they never touch our servers.
Audio. The visualizer processes audio (file, tab, or mic) entirely in your browser. Audio is never uploaded or stored.

Service providers

We rely on Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Neon (database), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only as needed to provide their part of the service.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies — to keep you signed in (Clerk) and to process checkout (Stripe). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can edit your color map and account at any time, or delete your account to remove your associated data. To request deletion or a copy of your data, contact us.
